2008 Festival Choir
Audition/Season Information: We audition every season and seek to present
the highest level of choral performance. Singers must know learn their
parts before the
first rehearsal.

2008 Rehearsal Schedule
All rehearsals will be
held at the Central Presbyterian Church (90 Maple St, Summit):
1) Sat. June 28,
9:30 AM- Noon
2) Mon. June 30, 7:00-9:30 PM
3) Wed. July 2, 7-9:30
4) Mon. July 7, 7-9:30
5) Sat. July 12, 9:30- Noon
6) Mon. July 14, 7-9:30
7) Sat. July 19, 9:30- Noon
8) Mon. Juy 21, 7- 9:30 (Chorus Dress)
9) Thurs. July 24, 7:00- 10:00 PM (Chorus/Orch. Dress)
10) Sat. July 26, 6:30 Soundcheck and 8PM Performance
Due to the high level of artistry expected of the choir, attendance at
rehearsals is crucial. All singers accepted in the choir must learn the music
before the first rehearsal.
Membership Dues- $35, to be collected at the first rehearsal
Concert Dress- Tux (Black Tie) for the Men
Concert Black for the Women
All singers accepted into the choir must purchase or obtain their own scores.
The World of Music in Summit (908) 273-1171 will have scores in stock, or they
can be ordered online. The full translation of the texts will be available under
the members section of this website and must be written in each singers score
before the first rehearsal. Singers will be contacted following auditions via
email.
